In both index.ascx and internal.ascx there is some unexpected code for id="dnnSearch" in Submit value. It still works, but it looks like it should use spacer2.gif as well as some other attributes.

IE 9 and AarsysMetro 6.2.1. Note that this also happens in IE 10 (Win8)

What is the browser and it's version your are using ? I hope you are using the last Version of the Skin.

My mistake, now that I look at it, I can see how the inline code works.

BUT, there are still some weird issues with the go button and I suspect the inline code is causing the problem.

This all started because I clicked on go and nothing happened. 99% of time it works but once in a while it did not respond to mouse click. I discovered that if you move the mouse slowly across GO and past it, the mouse goes from a hand to a pointer and back to a hand. The clickable area does not match the button area.

Note the attached file. The selection area is oddly shaped and exceeds the right side of the image. This is where there is a weird overlap that causes mouse clicks to be ignored.

I think the clickable area should be the entire square. I realize this is a very minor issue but it is unexpected behavior and it should be fixed.

I don't agree with you. About the sample you postet first is who the search is build on the controls. Only additional the search component if self is allso added on the code with some of the attributesyou posted.

This is how the search is build:

Looks like the layout of the Metro skin doesn't layout the admin/host pages very well. I haven't had a close look at the html containers involved. Screen shot from v06.02.01

Thats also why I started changes to html5 moves out tables and uses divs. Also itw as time to move away from solpart menu, about it didn't work on modern browsers. Feedback and issue reporting always welcome :-D, also contribution ;-) if you found teh time anyway.

I tried to reproduce your issue, but can't. The warning happens with the manifest frile, that includes all information about installation on the virtual folder in your instance, where your instance extract all files to install it. Could it be a permission or time out issue ?

Plese check your folder and IIS permissions.

www.smoothgui.net is running DNN 06.02.03 (141) (latest public release). From what I can tell DNN 7 will be moving to HTML5 standards browsers and this might cause yet another change to your excellent work. I would love to help out, but I'm currently spending my community contributions on another project that's consuming a lot of my time. Happy to keep testing and reporting issues.

The site is running the latest edition 06.02.03 (141). It's currently being used as a test site for all the recent changes to DNN (6.2 Social).

Screenshot looks from v06.02.00. The Change to usining conatainers (div) instead tables makes it some different to get a well formed design on the width. I want to add new simple admin pages on a later Version. The next changes must be on the DNN Containers that have also to be changed away from tables.

Perhaps after changing the DNN Containers we can get a better inherits, not sure yet.

When hovering over module "Manage" token, dropdown does not activate (Chrome/Firefox). Action dropdown does work in IE. Tested on DNN 6.2.3 (141).
