Project Description
Enhanced Metro 7 style Skin Package for DotNetNuke. This skin is based on the skin of Ali Nawaz Metro7 and was converted to a Visual Studio project with revisions for use in DotNetNuke 6.x.

An Metro7 style DotNetNuke Skin package with 4 colors for DotNetNuke 6 and above. This Skin is based on the Metro7 Skin provided from Ali Nawaz that was made for DNN 5.

The Metro7 Skin package is designed to support WP7 (Windows Phone 7), a later implementation of the DotNetNuke mobile API for a better Browser recognition and Font substitution is on the roadmap.

Installing Skin Package on DotNetNuke

To install the Metro7 Skin Package login into your site as host or admin and go to the Extenssion page on Host (System or Administrator. Then use the Extension wizard to upload the zip file and install the Skin package.

Changing the banner slider images

If you want to change the banner slider images using ftp client or the if you have RDP access to your server jou have to replace the banner.jpg images you could find on the Portals\0\default\skins\Metro7-<color>\banner folder. If you want to use other file names for your images as the existing, you also have to change the file names of the banner images you could find in the code of the index.ascx file.
